Foiled by Oil Part 3

Wherein Naomi hashes out the last post for this topic and mourns the death of her country.

Happy Monday, my small group of followers!

I know I haven’t been updating as much as I used to. Things happened over here in America. Really crazy things. We let a Cheeto into the white house. Despite all the political drama that’s going on recently, this is neither the time nor place for this discussion.

So, where were we?

Argan Oil:

What can be said about Argan oil? As a deep conditioner and overnight hair treatment, Argan oil is the shit. If you’re looking for all-natural alternatives for hair styling products, look no further.

Deep Conditioner

This can be used as an overnight hair treatment or everyday use if you need a little touch-up. It’s not a thick like black castor oil is, so it can be used everyday without your hair looking like a grease factory. Not to mention it smells rich and exotic. A product doesn’t need to smell good for me to like it, but it doesn’t hurt.

Moisturizer

Done. I have officially married Argan oil and we are going to elope. This is the shit when it comes to moisturizing my hair and skin. You can put it directly on your scalp for application or put a few drops into your daily conditioner for a smaller effect. This can replace all those fancy, expensive lotions that you buy in exchange for a cheap alternative.

Most Popular Hair Products with Argan Oil

Jojoba Oil

This is more of an oil-cleanser than anything. Other than golden color, another benefit is all the important vitamins and minerals which are required for a healthy skin.

Hair Conditioner

This oil can also be used as a cleansing conditioner because of it’s ability to remove hair residue. You should notice a cooling sensation on your scalp because the oil slowly soaks into pores and moisturizes your skin.

Treating Acne

If you want to use this oil against acne, it works better if you mix it with a few drops of tea tree oil. From my last blog post, I explain how tea tree oil is also an effective acne treatment. Because of the anti-inflammatory properties of jojoba oil, it can reduce redness on your skin while preventing those annoying pimples on your face.

Hair Growth

This oil can prevent balding and encourage the growth of new hair. Because of the fact that it moisturizes hair follicles, it can make hair stronger and healthier.
